Summer Time is Fun Time
It pleases all of us here at the Paintball field to announce that we will be available 7 days a week for the months of July and August 2023.
Daily Prices will remain the same but the hours have changed. We will be here for your eternal summer memories to happen from 11 am to 4 pm.
Scheduled parties are encouraged but walk-ins are always welcome.
We are very excited to offer this opportunity to all of our Humboldt friends.

Rental Packages and Parties
Rental Packages include a Marker( Paintball Gun), a mask, use of the field, unlimited air refills, plus 500 paintballs. All for $40
Parties are always $40 per person. If you are planning to bring more than 5 people please feel free to book a party below.
Feel free to pack a BBQ, Ice chest, tables and chairs.
Doordash will deliver as will any restaurant in town that offers delivery. Let them know we are 2013 Drake Hill Drive. The Paintball Field… they will figure it out.
Targets for all ages
Paintball can be painful so we try to keep our players 8 years and older, at parent’s discretion. HPC offers a discount for targets. This can be enjoyed by all ages. A marker a mask and 500 paintballs are included.

General pricing
For those of you who have your own equipment; entry and air for the field is $15.
All paint used MUST be purchased at the field.
Paintballs -$15 for 500 or $55 for 2000
We only fill high pressure air(HPA) tanks. We refill HPA tanks on site, and we are the lowest price in Humboldt. Tanks must be certified Hydro Tested. If you have any questions on this process, please call or text the field.
We do not fill co2! Sadly nowhere else does either locally. DO NOT BUY CO2 CANISTERS!!
Not to worry if you only have CO2, we rent HPA tanks for $5 for the day.

THE field

hours
Typically the field hours are 11am until 4pm. If a party or group of walk-ins desire to continue playing we always allow them the option of playing until the end of daylight, or sometimes longer with exception.
HPC is open rain or shine. The only weather that really effects the game play is the wind. If the wind is blowing over 20 mph we have to shut down for the day.
We offer blocks for parties from 11am until 1pm, and 1pm until 4pm on Saturday and Sunday. With party permission, we allow walk-on players to join ongoing parties. We offer these same services Monday thru Friday for the majority of the year, depending on weather. Weekday parties must consist of a minimum of 10 participants, and we highly appreciate notice a week or more in adance.

The most common question we get is “How does it work?"
At HPC we offer two full fields:
The blow up field we refer to as Airball. We are lucky enough to have a National Xball League regulation sized field with regulation bunkers(inflatable objects used for cover).
Our second field is referred to as Recball. This field is more commonly used for casual and slower paced play. This field is constantly changing and growing, we use water storage barrels and containers to modify its layout to offer an ever changing landscape and unique play experiences. HPC gladly accepts donations of these barrels/storage containers to continue improving our players experience.
Games start when people are ready to play there are no time limits, or start times wen you are ready to play walk on to a field and join a team and get ready to shoot your friends, loved ones and perfect strangers.
Parties select their own teams, and the game begins once everyone is ready. The referee will call game start.
A typical game will consist of:
Each team has a "start box" where they will begin on opposing sides of the field. Once the game is called to start, your goal is to eliminate every opposing team member. A single shot anywhere on your body, face, or gun is a killing blow and you are eliminated. If you are eliminated you will safely and quickly make your way to the side walls and stay at the net on the field until the match ends. When all players on a team are eliminated, teams switch sides and start over.

what to wear
In true Humboldt fashion, paintball is all about layers. Loose and layered clothing will provide the best experience. Leggings covered by cargo pants or overalls or something similar, hoodies or loose jackets for the body and we suggest a bandana for your neck and a beanie for head protection. Gloves are popular to protect the hands. One thing to keep in mind is the andrenaline that comes with our sport, your heart rate will elevate and your body will heat up, this is why we suggest layers so you can remove your outer wear if necessary. Please always remember to bring and drink plenty of water. Keep in mind you will be muddy and dirty sometimes, and covered in paint, and you may want to bring a clean change of clothes for getting back into your vehicle. All paintball paint is non toxic, and edible. Typically the paint will not stain your clothing, however we do recommend washing your clothing soon after play.

I am a born and raised Humboldt local, with three wonderful children and I understand how challenging it can be to find somewhere special for their celebrations. Not to mention just adult get togethers! I decided to open a paintball field where everyone is welcome to have a worry-free and inexpensive place to gather and have fun. No cleaning, cooking, or extra stress required.

Grow it
It all began in Fortuna at Pine Ridge Paintball. I love this sport and it has helped me grow into the strong, resilient person I am today, especially thanks to the strong influence of everyone who became family and friends from this lifestyle. I now play professional paintball for the Women's National Xball League. for an all womens team called the San Francisco SIrens. In 2023, our team played Ameteur Division and went on to win the 2023 World Cup, accelerating us into the professional league. My life's mission is to grow this sport as much as I can and that all starts here at this little field that I call home.
